Blue Skies, Cuddles and A New Bike

This weekend was a relaxed and quiet one spent at home, unfortunately Toddler had caught a tummy bug at nursery and being the sharer that she is, decided to pass it to both myself and Tiny Tot.

Friday and Saturday looked a lot like this, it was horrid seeing her so poorly but I was definitely loving all the cuddles. (Note my post pregnancy hair loss making a sneaky appearance!!!)

On Saturday our super smiley and happy Tiny Tot turned 4 months, where has the time gone? Nothing seems to phase this little lady, even when poorly she still manages to flash a huge grin and sleep like a dream.

On Saturday evening, a friend and I decided to bake ourselves some super yummy Banana and Oat Muffins, a lovely, healthy little pick me up.

Waking up to blue skies on Sunday was a most welcome delight. We spent most of the day with the doors open to the garden, allowing the warm sunshine and crisp Spring air to energise us and cleanse our home.

By Sunday afternoon Toddler was starting to feel a little better and had some energy so she had a little ride around on her new bike that Daddy had treated her to. She spent a good while in and out of the garden on her bike and Daddy even took her around the block once or twice. I definitely think the bike was a huge hit and something she’ll be using a lot over the Spring and Summer months. It was so lovely for her to finally get some fresh air after two days of lazing on the sofa but she was absolutely exhausted by the time she decided to come in.

How was your weekend, were you able to enjoy the long awaited Spring sunshine?

Thanks for reading, have a fab week.

  1. I’m glad your eldest is feeling better, it’s horrible when they’re poorly, though the extra cuddles are lovely!

Thanks for linking up with Point + Shoot xx
